Study of Saint Ignatius Chapel
In ARCH 201: "Architectural Design and Representation II" the class was tasked to do a study of an assigned building. The building that I was assigned was Saint Ignatius Chapel in Seattle, WA. For this building I had to complete a section and a plan of the building, as well as relate the building to a fundamental architectural term. The term that I decided to relate this building to is "form". The unconventional form of this building is something that interested me and I wanted to further explore it through my section, plan, and additional graphics.

To complete this project, I used several different tools and methods at different points in the process. I started by studying the building in person by sketching and taking notes of different elements. I then used Rhino 6 to create the base for my section and plan and finished those elements with a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I also used a combination of hand drawing, Photoshop, Illustrator to create my additional graphics, and then used Adobe InDesign to put my final project board together.
